IPC TOPICS WE LOVE!!
Here in SCIPS, we
have various IPC topics which will expand our general knowledge.
Year 3 is
focusing on Time Zones where they will learn all the different places with different
GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
However, in Year
4, they are learning about Treasure. One day, the Year 4’s came dressed up as
pirates in search of a treasure hunt. What treasure do you think they have
found? It was amazing to find them
dressing up and see their fantastic clothing.
In Year 5, they are learning about Myths and Legends; where they will go
back in time and discover all the courageous heroes and heroines as well as gods
and goddesses. We had a lot of fun dressing up as a mythical beast; god or
goddess; hero or heroine or the evil nemesis.
The Year 6’s are looking at Fairgrounds where they get into groups to
make their own models of a Fairground. They tried to make roller coasters as a
ride. The Year 6 needed to find out the cost and make sure that it will sustain
for a while.
