So some of our students were selected to go to the Sports Weekend!
Though, I could only interview my class....
Well here are what they said!

HOW DO YOU FEEL?
Alex Kim: "I feel so nervous!"
Ayami Sato: "I am so proud of myself!"
They have been feeling positive and confident!

WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES WILL YOU BE PLAYING?
Alex Kim: "We will be playing a variety of FOBISSEA activities throughout the weekend.

WHAT IS YOUR RESOLUTION?
Kevin Chave: "We are going to make SCIPS WIN!!"
Ayami Sato: "We are all going to try our best!"

WHO DO YOU THINK WILL HAVE THE GREATEST STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP?
Alex Kim, Kevin Chave and Marcus: "WE ALL THREE ARE!!"

ANY COMMENTS?
Jade Ryan: "SCIPS is gonna ROCK this!!"
Alex Kim: "My goal is to try and score a hat trick! And our football team are going to make Mr. Able proud!

SCIPS 50th Anniversary Dinner and Dance

SCORES!!!

Yesterday, the 20^th of February, some of our athletic players had a FIERCE football competition against Tenby!! Here are the results!

                               1^st Match      2^nd Match

Y6 Boys                  Lost 1 – 0      Won 1 – 0             

Y5 Boys                  Lost 1 – 0      Drew 0 – 0

Y5/Y6 Girls             Drew 1 – 1     Drew 0 – 0

Y3/Y4 Boys             Lost 2 – 0      Lost 2 – 0

Well done to all!

Also, Alex (Y6HB) had scored a goal through the halfway point in the second match. Thank you Alex!

All of the AWESOME players have done well in their training and games!

Additionally, well done to ALL the teachers who helped and participated!

Mr.Yang says, “All players have done a great job and I am very happy for the team! Alex is like the hero of the day!”

Was it OK to draw or loose?

“Yes, it is! As long as we know where to improve and fix!”

How did the girls do?

“They did pretty well for a first match though they will need more work as football is more of a game for boys.”

The ‘Hero’ and his friends have also left some comments for us!

Alex (Y6HB), “When I scored that goal I felt like I was leading the team in a good direction!”

Bastien (Y6HB), “It was AWESOME!! I was very happy!!”

Moreover, our football mania, Mr. Able, had watched the match!!

“It was great to see SCIPS hosting football matches. Many people came to watch and the atmosphere was great. All the players worked really hard and it was brilliant to see some players get their first chance to play for the school teams.”

Everyone had fun and a FABULOUS time!

A HUGE thank you to Mr. Yang, Miss Sarah, Mr. Evans, Mr.Allman who helped coaching teams.

Hope to see more BREATH-TAKING matches in the future!

Thank you for your POSTER ENTRIES!!! :)

We would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everybody who took part in our new POSTER competition. We received over 40 entries and trying to pick one winner was very challenging. We will announce the winner next week in assembly. This person will receive 20 house points and have their poster professionally printed and put around the school. 

Well done KEY STAGE 2!

We have had really positive feedback from the children who took part, so we will try to organise more fun competitions for you in the future.
