The Year 6s have done it again! :-)
THE
HOLIDAY SWAP SHOP
Today Year Six have
done the Holiday Swap Shop. An event every year where they select a city and
promote it to get votes. The cities this year span 5 continents, with 12 cities
represented such as Barcelona and Chicago. They have worked
for 3 hours drawing people in to vote for them.
The results will be
revealed as soon as the results are posted.
Stay alert!

What a fantastic Science Day with super fun activities!
KS2 drop the egg competition!!
The
KS2 had a fantastic Science day last week! They made their own egg protector and dropped
it off the class building. They needed to be creative but they cannot put any
liquid in their egg protector. Every person that enters will get a house point
each for their house. Each egg protector must weigh 100 grams only. Each person
will only have one chance to drop their egg down from the Year 3’s and 4’s
corridor. If the egg does not break, that person will receive 5 house points!!!
Thanks for joining!!!
Thanks to all the staff for organising the day, especially Mr Abel and Mrs Woodhams!

GAME: Word Play
Word play!
How to play: to play word
play you need a partner and a piece of paper. Then you start off by rolling a
dice or flipping a coin and decide who is player one and who is player two.
After that player one thinks of a word starting with the letter A and you write
that down and then player two thinks of a word starting with B and so on. You
carry on like that until you get to the letter Z. then when you get to the
letter Z you go back to the beginning and you look to find out what
is the letter that the first word ended with then you have to think of a
word starting with that letter for example: apple ,egg.
Then you do that for the
whole thing from a to z and once you have done that you have to think of a
sentence that you could put the word in. are you ready once you are I have put
some words down below to help you get started ready and go:
1. apple
2. bat
3. carpet
4. democratic
5. emotional
6. flow
and
that is how you play. See if you can do it and comment you results!
Good
luck

Part Two - Forbidden Love
Part Two – Forbidden Love
It was all grey and brown no grass no flowers she was
shocked, she always thought it would be beautiful but her imaginative mind
disappeared with all the flowers and plants.
Maria went back to mount-Olympus and ran to her golden room
and sobbed through out the night but then she got up, wiped her tears and went
back to earth to try her powers that she never used before! So out through the
golden gates and down to earth .Maria swirled and shook her hands then magic
flew from one place to another it was all green and pretty and flowers shot up
out of the ground and trees had leaves with all different colors, Maria was
astonished and she made every thing come back to life on earth so her love was
never forbidden she just needed to let it out and be the girl she wanted to be
!!!
So if you want to go
some where because it might help you in some way just tell some one you can trust and you can
never stop believing in what you believe

the trees that grew from the soft grass and the water so blue and clear she
could just jump in it but there was a gate that stopped her from leaving
Mount-Olympus .Maria was the first daughter of Athena and she was the goddess
of plants
