SCIPS Mathmaticians

SCIPS BRAINS

Hey guys! So yes, as you can see from, the title, I got the RESULTS of the FOBISSEA Maths Challenge!

Overall SCIPS came 4th among so many countries! Here are what some of the contestants have to say!

Jia Ying: “Well there were lots of hard challenges though mostly were team challenges so I think we did pretty well! Even though we came 4th…My worst nightmare was the blindfold challenge. I was partners with Bryan and well… HE KEPT TRIPPING OVER MY FOOT!”
Bryan: “The big and small practical challenges were fun. We even had a Matheletics which was an online game where you had to answer as many questions as you can in 1 minute.”
Dylan: “So there was 1 individual and the rest were team games. The weird thing is that Bryan had done some questions on MyMaths and the questions on MyMaths were on the sheet! My favourite part was when we had a pool party!”

Alex: "Maths FOBISSEA was a great challenge. Although it was hard, it was fun and interesting to know how other people do their maths. It will be one of the best memories of SCIPS in my life!

Whoa... a POOL PARTY! You guys are luuuucky! I bet it was real fun! Anyways, congratulations to all and well done to all!

Hope you enjoyed the article! BYE!!

Early Years Sports day!
Hi SCIPS kids! The SCIPS mag Team here! Yesterday afternoon the prefects helped with the early year’s sports day! The prefects and house captains took time to stay after school and help with the event and in the end got a small reward! I hope we all respect the things prefects do for the school! And we hope all of the prefects, teachers and children all had a WONDERFULL day!
Thank you!
