We are delighted to welcome Brenna and Paulina to our SCIPS Mag team. They will join Sophie and Druv. Look out for their articles and additions to our school blog.

Brenna has been attending SCIPS for just over 3 years. She is from Florida, USA and loves animals and computers. She is excited to join our School Blog team and has some fantastic ideas to share with you. She is also one of our house captains (red house).

Paulina has been attending SCIPS for about 4 years. She is from Korea and can speak 3 languages; Mandarin, Korean and English. WOW! Her favourite subjects are music and ICT. Perhaps she will post some interesting videos on here for you. She's excited to help vamp up our blog and helping other children get more involved. As one of our school prefects, she sets an excellent example to others and tries to commit to as much as she can throughout school.

SCIPS MAG welcomes Dhruv and Sophie to our new team! :)

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our brand new SCIPS MAG team members; Dhruv (Yr 5AL) and Sophie (Yr 6JA). They are extremely excited in becoming our school journalists.

Dhruv is new to SCIPS as of this September and has already shown his commitment to our school by offering his time here within our school's SCIPS MAG team. He has joined us from Bangkok with his family including his sister who is in Reception. He has been living in Penang now for one year and his favourite place is ESCAPE. He really wants to be a journalist and is looking forward to writing great articles for you.

Sophie is also new to SCIPS as of this September and is very enthusiastic about taking part in as many school events and activities as possible. Sophie has joined us all the way from California and has enjoyed settling into Penang over the last few months. She is excited about making new friends and loves writing, so look out for our second budding journalist.

Every Thursday after school we will be working together to write exciting articles here for you online. Our school blog is the place to find out about and celebrate school events, updates, news, games, quizzes and challenges. All of the updates are written by the children themselves.

We would like to encourage you to visit our blog every week to celebrate our success and feel free to comment on any of our posts that may interest you.

Until next week...Miss Rix :)
