Kittens in a drain?

On Wednesday 21^st of May, as Y5 Set A1 was walking back from the ICT Suite, they saw two cute little kittens in the drain! One of the kittens is a Tabby and the other is a black and white kitten. They were taken out and kept safely, finding a new home for them; some students wanted to take them home but Mr. Jones said no. The kittens were adorable and had lots of attention.

FOBISSEA Short Story Writing Competition Winners Revealed :)

What a fantastic response to the FOBISSEA Short Story Writing Competition we had! The teachers in Years 5 and 6 have had over 60 stories to read from keen, budding authors in the last few weeks. The entries were shortlisted to three per class and then a class winner was selected from each class. As if that wasn't tough enough, the teachers then had the extremely difficult task of electing just one winning story for the whole school! After much deliberation, the eventual winner was Gokul Balaji from Year 6 ...well done to Gokul and all the class winners!!

Book Day 2013

Book day

Today, 9^th May, we had our very own special book day for the whole school. This year, the theme was fantasy. The participants dressed up as a fantasy character of their choice. Everyone went to different classrooms and took part in fun activities with new teachers and pupils. All of the children looked marvelous in their costumes and even the teachers too!

Our New House Captains!!

Congratulation to our new house captains. We have Shuki and Mino for the Red House, Marcus and Mia for the Blue House, Bryant and Mia (the other one) for the Green House and Harrison and Zara the Yellow House. Congratulation to all of you!!!

This Year's KS 2 Spelling Bee Competition!

This year’s spelling Bee was awesome! The spelling bee is a competition between the most fantastic spellers within each year group; there was a spelling test with 20 given words and 15 surprise words. The amazing winner from each class took part in a year group spelling bee challenge. Winners had to challenge each other with an oral spelling test; the spelling champion was awarded with a certificate. In my opinion, the spelling test with 15 surprise words was really hard as there were words as challenging as ‘entrepreneur’!

THE THAILAND FOBISSEA GAMES!!

This year there was a mini Fobissea games event that was held in Thailand! Lots of amazing athletes competed and were very victorious! In T-Ball and football SCIPS (BOYS AND GIRLS) came first with everyone winning a gold medal! In the rest of the events, instead of medals they won ribbons. Whilst this went on, some accidents happened on the way, however that didn’t stop the mighty SCIPS  Scorpions! There are medals to be won in the big Fobissea event at the end of May! Everyone should be very proud of these athletes and wish them luck in their next events! 

WELL DONE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS! :)
